Sunday – Day 2: Welcome to Israel 

Shalom and welcome to Ben Gurion Airport.

Meet and assist with transfer

A Trips Israel representative will meet us immediately after passport control. After identifying our luggage, we will be escorted outside the terminal to meet our driver. We will drive to the beautiful Mediterranean coast of Tel Aviv and to our hotel for check-in.

Monday – Day 3: Journey north 

Our first breakfast in Israel!

We will meet our guide at 08:30 AM at the lobby of our hotel (after check-out).

Drive north along the coastal Plain of Sharon towards Caesarea. We will journey on the coastal road, which once linked Egypt and Babylon to the largest northern City of Haifa.

Caesarea – Israel

Ancient city of Caesarea, built by Herod the Great and once occupied by Roman rule. Caesarea is also where Pontius Pilate had his base; where Cornelius lived and was baptized (Acts 10). It is also where Paul embarked to Tarsus (Acts 9:30) and where Philip preached (Acts 8:40). See the excavated Roman theater, with its acoustic and theatrical sound.


One of King Solomon’s walled, fortified cities (1st Kings 9:15; 10:26). Ruins of 20 levels of civilization and identified as the site of Armageddon. From here the Books of Daniel and Revelation will come alive as we read about the final Battle of Armageddon. We will also view the Plains of Jezreel in addition to the well-preserved water supply system.

Druze Village:

The Daliat-al-Carmel is a Druze Village on the foot of Mt. Carmel. Here we will feast to a genuine Druze authentic lunch – while learning their history, culture and way of life.

Mt. Carmel, Haifa:

Ascend to the top of Mt. Carmel to visit the Carmelite Monastery of Muhraka. Here, Elijah did battle with the false prophets of Baal (1 Kings 18:30). Also see an amazing panoramic view of Haifa Bay and the botanical gardens below.

Tuesday – Day 4: Journey to the Galilee 

After breakfast at our hotel, we will leave Haifa and journey to Tiberias. Visits on the way will include:

Zippori (Sepphoris)

A Jewish town during the Byzantine period 1500 years ago. Home of Ann – mother of Mary and also the center of Jewish Sanhedrin. Visit the beautiful 1400 year old Synagogue and see the amazing Mosaic floors – Mona Lisa of the Galilee.

Akko (Acre)

The capital of the Crusaders for more than a century. Also included in the ancient fortress; the underground passages and secret rooms. In addition, we will visit the prison where members of the Irgun were held captive during Israel’s fight for Independence.

Mystical City of Safed (Tzfat)

Considered to be – one of the Four Holy Cities according to tradition and its Kabalistic studies. We will stroll through the narrow and winding alleys, visit the beautiful synagogues and browse the artists’ workshops and galleries found in the flourishing artists’ quarter.


We will conclude our day with a driver to Tiberias and to our hotel in the shores of the Galilee.

Wednesday – Day 5: Western Galilee – Golan Heights 

Breakfast at our hotel. We will drive north to the Golan Heights (Josh. 21 :27). Visits in the Golan Heights will include:

Banias Springs – Caesarea Philippi

The impressive Greco-Roman city of Banias (Paneas). Banias is located at the heights of the Golan and at the foothills of Mt. Hermon. It is also one of the sources of the Jordan River.

Caesarea Philippi

Located in the Banias Park, Caesaria Philippi is where Peter made his confession of faith in Christ (Matt. 16:16). At Caesarea Philippi, there is a Roman sanctuary, which included temples and ritual courtyards. This was built near the sacred grotto of the Greco-Roman god Pan.

Nof Ginosar:

We will drive south to the Sea of Galilee (lake Kinneret) for a traditional famous St. Peter’s fish lunch. After lunch, we will enter into Yigal Alon Museum, where the “Jesus boat” is displayed. The Jesus Boat is an ancient fishing boat from the 1st century. It was found at the bottom of Lake Kinneret (Sea of Galilee) and was restored to its original look. We will join a boat cruise on the Sea of Galilee to experience life as fishermen’s in the time of Jesus


The center of Jesus Galilean ministry and the site of many of His miracles (Mark 2:4; Matt. 8:5; 14-17; 9:1-7; 17:18). We will see the remains of Peter’s house, the synagogue and site believed where Jesus taught and worshiped (Mark 1:21; Luke 4:31).


The site of the multiplication of the loaves and the fishes (John 6:1-14).

Mount of Beatitudes

This is where Jesus delivered perhaps the most significant sermon ever preached. It is also known as “The Sermon On The Mount” (Matt. 5).


A baptismal site at the Jordan River. We will visit the Jordan River for an opportunity to be baptized (must request in advance).


We will return back to our hotel. We will have some rest, followed by a relaxing dinner at our hotel.

Thursday – Day 6: Journey to the City of the Great King – JERUSALEM

Enjoy another breakfast at our hotel. We will check-out from our hotel and leave Tiberias. We will travel towards western Galilee to visit:


Jesus performed his first miracle, turning water into wine at a wedding (John 2:1).


The Church of the Annunciation, where it is believed the Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary. We will also visit the site of the Synagogue of Nazareth, where Jesus preached his first sermon.

Jordan Valley

We will journey south through the lush Jordan Valley where the dessert now blooms with flowers and vegetation of every description (Isaiah 35:1-2) to the shores of the Dead Sea and the Mountains of Judea.

St. George Greek Monastery

We will view the spectacular and breathtaking St. George Greek Monastery (view only).

Mt. Scopus – Sheyechyanu

A traditional (Jewish) Sheyechyanu blessing to give thanks for our arrival to this special city and a beautiful panoramic view of the Old City of Jerusalem.


We will arrive to our hotel in Jerusalem for check-in followed by dinner at our hotel.

Friday – Day 7: Jerusalem at leisure

After breakfast, we will enjoy the day at leisure. Relax and enjoy the ambiance of Jerusalem, as well as to experience the preparation of Shabbat. Suggested sites to visit on your own:

Shuk Machane Yehuda (market/bazaar)

The shook is very popular with locals and tourists, with more than 250 vendors who sell fresh fruits and vegetables to Judaica items. It is usually very busy on Friday, prior to Shabbat.

Prior to the Sabbath in Jerusalem, take a taxi to the Dung Gate of the Old City to witness the preparation of Shabbat. A good place to pray as well. The Wester Wall is the last remaining wall from the 2nd temple period.

Saturday – Day 8: Jerusalem/ Ein Karem / Bethlehem

Ascent to the top of the mount for a panoramic view of Jerusalem, as well as the Golden Gates of the Old City of Jerusalem.

Garden of Gethsemane

Located on the footsteps of Mount of Olives, where Jesus was arrested, as well as where He prayed in many occasions.

Mount Zion

David’s tomb – the tomb of David

Upper Room – the site of the Last Supper (Mark 14, Luke 22, Matt 26, Acts 1 and Acts 2).

House of Caiaphas – high priest who interrogated Jesus the night of His betrayal (Mark 14:53- 65).

Israel Museum

Model city of Jerusalem – a full miniature display of the Old City of Jerusalem as it used to look like in 66 CE. (2nd Temple period)

Shrine of the Book – see where the original Dead Sea scrolls are housed and displayed.


Manger Square and the Church of the Nativity – birth site of Jesus.


Return back to our hotel for some rest, followed by dinner at hotel.

We will attend a spectacular sound and light show at Tower of David.

Sunday – Day 9: Old City of Jerusalem

We will enjoy breakfast at our hotel. Today, we will tour around the Old City of Jerusalem. We will enter through the Dung Gate to visit the following places:

Southern Wall excavations

The Southern Wall Excavations  show very welming evidence of the destruction of Jerusalem with flight of stairs leading to the temple. The site represents the entrance to the Temple and the importance of a baptismal ritual to purify the soul before stepping foot into the Temple. We will also see the Robinson Arch, which led the Sanandreans from City of David to the Temple through a bridge (for locals only). See the beauty of the ruins, including the famous Robinson Arch

Western Wall

The Western Wall is also referred to the Wailing Wall or Kotel. The Western Wall is the last standing part of the last remaining wall from the 2nd Temple period. It is made out of ancient limestone and is located in the Old City of Jerusalem. It is a very small wall area compared to the size it was during the 2nd Temple perior.

Church of the Holy Seplechre – Jerusalem

Including the Pool of Bethesda, where Jesus healed a lame man (John 5). We will walk along the Via Dolorosa and retrace the steps of Jesus (the way of the cross) and all stations. We will pass the colorful bazaar, alleyway and marketplaces until we reach the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. It is believed by many Christians, this was the site of Golgotha, the site of the Crucifixion and burial site.

Jewish Quarter

The Jewish Quarter of the Old City was unified at the conclusion of the Six-Day War in 1967 and reconstructed after it was liberated. We will visit the “Cardo”, the main-street and the ancient marketplace lined with columns.

Yad Vashem

The largest holocaust memorial, where six million Jews perished in Nazi Germany. We will visit the historical Children’s museum and Memorial Hall.

Monday – Day 10: Journey to the Dead Sea

Enjoy another breakfast at our hotel. We will leave Jerusalem and travel south through the Judean Wilderness towards the shores of the Dead Sea. As we get closer to the shores of the Dead Sea, we will start to descend to the lowest point on the surface of earth to 1305 feet (398m) below sea level. We proceed south along the Dead Sea shores to visit:


Qumran is managed by Israel’s Qumran National Park. It is located on a dry plateau about 1.5 km from the northwestern shore of the Dead Sea. Qumran are famous for the caves, where a young Shepherd discovered the Dead Sea scrolls.

We will drive further south to the Dead Sea resort of Ein Bokek and check-in to our hotel. The remainder of the afternoon at leisure to float on the unsinkable Dead Sea, as well as cover ourselves in the natural Dead Sea mud. Also, take advantage of the many spa facilities the hotel has to offer.

Tuesday – Day 11: Dead Sea to Eilat

Another delicious breakfast at our hotel and the morning at leisure. Optional morning at leisure or, join our Masada excursion at 9:00 AM (included):


At 09:00 AM, we will drive to the legendary mountaintop plateau of Masada. We will ascend by cable car to the ancient fortress to listen and understand the the stories of the last stronghold of the Jewish Zealots and their struggle against the Romans. The Zealots held out for three years against the legions of Flavius Silva and chose to die as free men at their own hands rather than submit to Roman slavery and torture. From the top of Masada, the outlines of the Roman encampments are still visible below. We will return back to our hotel.

At approximately at 12 noon, we leave the Dead Sea area and drive south towards Eilat. On our way, we will visit:

Bedouin Village

We will arrive to a Bedouin Village for a light Bedouin lunch with Bedouin Hospitality under an authentic Bedouin tent. Learn about Bedouin life in the desert.

Today we have a free day in Eilat. We will have the following choices to do today:

Underwater observatory – considered to be one of the largest sea-aquarium in the world, built into a coral reef – additional cost.

Red Sea Cruise – Join a sail on a yacht cruise on the Red Sea, snorkel – additional cost

The Red Rock city of Petra: After an early breakfast, we will drive to the the Israel/Jordanian border. After visa proceedings, we will drive straight to Petra through desert highways. Our ultimate destination is the astonishing rose-red city of Petra – built by the Nabateans (an early Arab tribe). Petra was renowned for its massive architectures, pools, dams and water channels. The Nabateans settled in Petra for more than 2000 years ago.

The visit begins with a short horseback ride, about 700m to the entrance of the Siq – approximately 1.2 Km long (walking distance). There is also a possibility to rent a chariot (extra) to get inside Petra and back to the gate outside. Petra is famous for: The Treasury, Royal Tombs, the Court, Roman Theater, Roman Street, Qassier Rl-Bint (Palace of Pharaoh’s daughter). in addition to many other smaller monuments which fascinate visitors. The city itself is almost 45 Square Km and is considered to be the second wonder of the world.

We will return back to Eilat Israel. En route, we will stop for a short visit in Aqaba, with possibility for a short walk in the town.

We will arrive to the border at approximately 6-7 PM.

Thursday – Day 13: Return north to Tel Aviv

After breakfast at our hotel, we will enjoy the morning at leisure. At noon time, we will leave Eilat and drive north to visit the following:

Timna Park and Solomon’s Pillars

The pillars are natural structures, which were formed by centuries of water erosion through a crack in the sandstone cliff. We will visit the model of the Tabernacle, where it is believed the Children of Israel used to pray and keep the Holy Ark during the 40 years of wandering in the desert.


Farewell dinner at a restaurant in Jaffa. After dinner, we will check in at hotel in Tel Aviv

Friday – Day 14: Departure and arrival Back Home 

After breakfast, we will be transferred to Ben Gurion Airport for our flight back home.
